Day 1

We begin another Imagination Federation service trip in Chacraseca, Nicaragua, and these kids are the reason we dedicate such an important part of our lives to our non-profit. The goal, support the Sonadores, now in 2nd and 3rd grade, in their journey to gain a college education. We make these trips with our supporters to meet with parents and teachers, to learn about Nicaragua and our roles as global citizens, to connect, to fall in love with this community for the first time or all over again for the hundreth time.

Today, the teachers and kids treated us to a welcoming ceremony that included singing and dancing. Each Sonador named his or her dream. Our 14 travelers, from Miami, New York and Canada, received the invitation, even this far away, to feel at home. Stay tuned to see what we're up for the next two weeks and how you can participate!
